Our shop - The Cheese Pantry:
We have taken over a little shop in Hatherleigh market called The Cheese Pantry which is open every Tuesday morning 8.30am to 1.00pm. All our cheese is available plus a selection of other local and west country cheeses.
Great excitiement - we have just realised the olympic torch will travel along the road past the farm next year on Monday May 21st 2012. Hopefully we shall have time to go and watch at the same time as cheesemaking. I have found this winter much easier than last with the weather being milder - I have not had to wear a thermal vest while cheesemaking all winter. Sales over the period were good - Meldon small sold out along with Vergin and only about 50 of the Curworthy left having made approx. 2000 in total. I am starting to book up shows and events for the coming year now starting with the Moretonhampstead Food Festival on March 10th. I will be doing our regular markets but Crediton is starting a second one on the third Saturday of the month which I am unable to do as I am committed to Okehampton on the same day.

Our cheese is available to send all year round for a birthday, an anniversary, a celebration, congratulations or just a thank you. A cheese by post leaflet can be downloaded, write your own gift tag and we will put this in with the cheese and send direct. A unique Devon gift.

Every third Saturday you can find us at the Okehampton Farmers Market under our new gazebos in the town centre 9am until 1pm. The next market is on Saturday Jan 21st
